Housed in a newly renovated bungalow tucked into the corner of the property, the Harmony Recording studio is surrounded by nature and just steps from the beach. The control room window overlooks a private outdoor terrace with native plant gardens, and a short walk leads to the amenities of the hotel, including the restaurant, juice bar, and pool. Waves, howler monkeys, and native birds are the background sounds here.

We've assembled the finest professional gear, including the API “The Box” console, PMC 6-2 monitors, classic outboard gear (BAE, LA-2A, Distressor), upright piano, Telecaster, P-Bass and the vintage re-issue Telefunken ELA M 251E microphone. Designed in collaboration with music industry professionals, the 380 s.f. control room and adjoining vocal booth are acoustically treated to meet the strictest standards while embracing the low key, high style aesthetic of the Harmony Hotel.
Available for daily rental, this is an ideal haven for production, songwriting, tracking vocals/instruments and mixing for the solo artist, producer or small band that wants to get away and record while reveling in the inspiring nature, surf, and creative community of Harmony and Nosara. We’re excited to offer this amenity to musical artists and sound pros in our community and from around the world.

Akai Professional Standalone Sampler / Sequencer
March 2024: The Recording Studio rental rate is $1000/day and includes full use of our extensive catalog of equipment, and access to Harmony Hotel amenities. Rental of the studio does not include hotel accommodations, and advanced reservations are required.
